While Draper Atlantic realizes that over time investment themes change, these are the three major sectors they are currently focusing on:

Communications equipment and software: Hardware and software (network enabling technologies sold to operators) addressing the bottom layers of the IP architecture, including communications equipment (Optical components and systems, Wireless, Other telecom equipment) and communications software.

Enterprise Software & Services: Enterprise applications (sold to companies as enabling technologies for their business processes) including application software, middleware, and network-enabled enterprise services.
Internet Infrastructure Services: Network applications (service-enabling technologies sold to operators or companies) that make the network more intelligent including infrastructure business services, infrastructure consumer services, infrastructure software.
