Kevin Tu
Kevin Tu joined DFJ Growth in 2017. Prior to DFJ, Kevin was with J.P. Morgan in their mergers and acquisitions practice, where he focused on transactions in technology sectors including security software, semiconductors, and healthcare. Previously, Kevin held positions at Summit Partners, working on growth equity investments, and J.P. Morgan's technology, media, and telecommunications practice. Kevin also has experience in software development roles on products for Amazon (Kindle tablets), Tinder (security infrastructure), Pebble smartwatches (data scientist), zSpace (3D holographic systems), Mapkin (social navigation), CrowdComfort (intelligent thermostats), Melon (brainwave monitor), and TrueLens (social insights).

Kevin graduated from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with a major in computer science. While at MIT, he was president of the Sloan Business Club and worked with the Martin Trust Center for Entrepreneurship to develop and direct a program for freshmen entrepreneurs. Kevin also participated in hackathons, played varsity volleyball, and sang in an a cappella group at MIT.
