Biography
Andre has a law degree from the Federal University of Minas Gerais, an LLm degree from Northwestern University School of Law and received a fellowship from the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs to attend a Technical Innovation management program in Rome, Italy.
Andre was an associate in the Corporate Department of Grebler, Pinheiro, Mourao & Raso in Belo Horizonte, Brazil and an international associate in the Capital Markets Group of Cadwalader, Wickersham & Taft in New York.
Prior to joining FIR Capital, Andre was the general counsel for Servicos Financeiros Imobiliarios, Ltda. (SFI), a real estate investment and securitization company and a co-founder of Cafesall S.A., a vertical exchange for the green coffee market.
Andre is the author of an article on arbitration which appeared in the International Arbitration Report as well as an article on real estate securitization in Latin America which appeared in Asset Finance Update.
