Biography
Henry Chung is a Managing Director and head of DFJ Athena's Seoul office. He is the founder/CEO of eCommunity, a consultancy devoted to helping startup companies in various aspect their business including market development, technology positioning, and financing. Prior to founding eCommunity, he was a director at Arthur D. Little, a global management consulting firm. As a member of Arthur D. Little's TIME (Telecommunication, Information, Media and Electronics) Practice, he gained a broad experience in the information and telecommunications industry. Prior Arthur D. Little, he worked in the core team in SK Group that orchestrated its entry into mobile telecommunications business by successfully launching SK Telecom, the largest wireless carrier in Korea. Before SK Group, he was a management consultant with the Monitor Group where he was a founding member of its Seoul office and worked on a variety of strategic consulting projects in both in the United States and Korea. He holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and an MBA from Seoul National University. He frequently lectures on high tech management for entrepreneurs as well as for universities.
