Ms. Szczepaniak is an Analyst with Epic Ventures in the New Mexico office.  Prior to joining Wasatch, Katie worked for Cabot Corporation as a Strategic Market Analyst in New Mexico where Cabot develops advanced material technology for alternative energy markets.  Before Cabot, she was a consultant with Kline & Co., a business consulting firm in the NYC area, whose clients include Fortune 100 companies and emerging businesses.  At Kline, Katie conducted consulting engagements, including market analysis, strategy planning, commercial potential assessments, and focused technology searches for client  within  the materials, nanotch, biotech, and energy markets.  Before Kline, Katie was a field engineer in oil field services with Schlumberger in France.  Katie received a B.S. in Materials Science & Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).  She is currently pursuing her Executive MBA at the University of Chicago.  Katie is the chair of the Nano-Network of New Mexico and serves on the board of NMBio.
