Biography

Melisa Gao is an Analyst at Draper Fisher Jurvetson, where her primary areas of interest are life sciences and clean technology. Prior to joining DFJ, Melisa was a consultant in McKinsey & Company's New Jersey office. There, she served clients on a range of strategic issues across the healthcare and consumer goods industries. Melisa previously conducted research at Princeton University's Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics as well as at Massachusetts General Hospital. She graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in chemistry from Princeton University, where she served as editor-in-chief of The Daily Princetonian.
