Mr. Hennessy is a Principal at Epic Ventures in which he is responsible for deal sourcing, due diligence, financial modeling and deal structuring. Michael began his career as an investment banker at Credit Suisse First Boston where he worked on international mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, restructurings and equity and debt offerings in a variety of industries and countries. He then joined the management team of a financial services software start-up with responsibilities in fundraising, business development and strategy.  Michael subsequently worked as a technology research analyst for Great Companies, LLC, a large cap growth mutual fund. He received his B.A. in English Literature from Williams College and his M.B.A. from Brigham Young University where he was awarded the Hawes and Dean's Scholarships.

Michael serves on the boards of Feed Management Systems, Utah Business and Phonex.  He is also active on the Boards of Naartjie, O�Currance, Drive Safety, Pivot Solutions, and Medsphere.
