Biography

Ms. Strate is an Analyst with Epic Ventures.  She started as an intern with Wasatch while completing her undergraduate degree.  Prior to Epic, she interned with TD Securities in the index option trading division where she assisted in creating markets, calculating hedges, and communicating risk levels with traders on the floors of the CBOE and AMEX.  Before interning with TD, Rachel was an associate with the University Venture Fund where she performed due diligence on a variety of deals for national venture capital firms and assisted in the marketing efforts for the first University Private Equity Summit.  She subsequently was a fund manager for the University of Utah's Student Managed Portfolio.  Rachel holds a B.S. in Finance and Marketing from the University of Utah.
