Biography
Sean Xiao is a Director with Draper Fisher Jurvetson with focus on investments in Clean Tech, Bio-Science, TMT, and Consumer retail sectors in China. Mr. Xiao was most recently an Executive Director in the Private Finance Group at Goldman Sachs (Asia) L.L.C. Prior to Goldman Sachs, Mr. Xiao worked at the investment banking division at Deutsche Bank and JPMorgan. Some of the recent transactions that Mr. Xiao worked on during his banking career include ICBC’s $21.9 billion Hong Kong / Shanghai IPO, China Shenhua Coal’s $3.3 billion Hong Kong IPO, Shanghai Auto’s $560 million acquisition of Ssangyong Motor, Canadian Solar Inc’s $116 million Nasdaq IPO and Renesola’s $120 million private CB placement.
