Biography
Elizabeth (Beezer) Clarkson is a Director at Draper Fisher Jurvetson. She manages the DFJ Global Network and serves on the board of ShareThis and the investment committee of DFJ Vina Capital and DFJ JAIC.
Prior to joining DFJ, Beezer was an Investment Manager at Omidyar Network where she focused on IT and financial services investments in emerging markets including CellBazaar (Acq. by Telnor), Global Microfinance Consortium, and United Villages. While at Hewlett Packard (HP), Beezer led business development negotiations with leading Internet services companies for placement on desktop and notebooks. Beezer was also with LC39 where she sourced early stage technology investments and acted as VP of Business Development for portfolio companies in the financial services space. She was also a management consultant for Towers Perrin and an investment banker for Morgan Stanley's Global Infrastructure Group.
Beezer has BA in Government from Wesleyan University and an MBA from Harvard Business School. She currently serves on the Board of Trustees of Wesleyan University and the Advisory Board of InVenture.
