Biography

Kevin Bird joined the Growth Fund in 2010.  Prior to joining DFJ, he worked in Lazard's San Francisco Technology office, providing M&A advisory to private and public technology companies, including Amazon, Cisco, IBM, and Microsoft.  He specialized in sectors such as communications equipment, digital media, semiconductors, and software. 

Kevin graduated from Stanford University with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering, concentrating in Computer Science.  His interest in technology also led him to found a robotics team that designed robots capable of finding victims of natural disasters and competed successfully in the international robotics competition, Robocup.  He is an avid follower of the NBA and enjoys golfing and traveling.
