Biography
Xi Yang is a Principal at Draper Fisher Jurvetson and focuses on clean tech related investment opportunities. Mr. Yang led the investment into Prudent Energy, SPSCAP and REenergy Electric. Mr. Yang currently serves as Board Director on the boards of Prudent Energy and SPSCAP. Prior to joining DFJ, Mr. Yang served as an Investment Manager in the PE arm of Mitsubishi Corporation, where he is in charge of late-stage investments in consumer and advanced manufacturing industries. Before Mitsubishi Corporation, Mr. Yang worked in Legend Capital with focus on early-stage investments in outsourcing, digital content and semi-conductor industries. He led a series of investments into related areas, like Virtuos Games, Crystal CG, New Vision Microelectronics and Fullhan Microelectronics. Mr. Yang received his BS in Systems Theory from Beijing Normal University and received his Master degree in Management Science from Guanghua School of Management, Peking University.
