Brandon Farwell is an Investment Professional at Draper Fisher Jurvetson. Prior to joining DFJ, Brandon worked in Credit Suisse's San Francisco office within the Alternative Asset Management Division. He focused on secondary investments mostly in leveraged buyout and venture capital funds across a variety of industries and geographies. Prior to working in San Francisco, Brandon completed an internship in investment banking in New York within Credit Suisse's Financial Institutions Group.
Brandon graduated from Stanford University with a BA in Economics and a Minor in International Relations. While at Stanford, he was Vice-President of the student-run entrepreneurial club entitled the Business Association of Stanford Entrepreneurial Students (BASES). He organized workshops and conferences on entrepreneurship, raised the capital to fund the club, and helped organize campus-wide business plan competitions. He remains active in the club as a mentor to student members and adviser to some start-ups.
Brandon rowed on the varsity crew team while at Stanford. He is currently an avid cyclist and fan of Stanford athletics. His primary interests include mobile, social media/networking, and enterprise software.
